Annotation:

The third edition has undergone, in comparison with the first two, a significant revision. Added chapter ten on Lebesgue integration of unlimited functions. With the inclusion of this chapter, the book contains all the material that is usually included in the basic university course in the theory of functions of a real variable. The first chapter is significantly expanded: the Cantor-Bernstein theorem and the theorem on the cardinality of the set of all subsets of a given set are introduced. The paragraphs on ordered sets in the second chapter have been rewritten and significantly expanded. Additions to chapter II and chapter III on partially ordered sets and topological spaces have been written again. At the end of chapter VIII, an example of a continuous function with no derivative at any point is added.
