Annotation:

The main idea of the author was to write a specifically university course in analytical geometry that does not copy the university course. The purpose of this book is to give the student the opportunity to master the method of coordinates and to inform him of a certain stock of ready–made information obtained using this method. Keeping in mind the two-way applicability of the coordinate method, the author, in addition to studying the properties of the most important curves, also included a special chapter devoted to the systematic study of graphs of the most important functions. The author of this book tried to conduct the presentation in such a way as to make even a poorly prepared reader think about fundamental issues as deeply and consciously as possible. The author always meant that the proposed book is not only a textbook of analytical geometry, but also a textbook of mathematics, and moreover, for most readers, it is the first textbook of higher mathematics. There are a number of tasks in the book. Among the tasks designed simply to apply some formula, there are two types: tasks in which there are no computational difficulties and tasks that require more complex calculations. In conclusion, several instructions have been given on how to use this book.
