Annotation:

The book consists of an autographed lecture on non-Euclidean geometry by Felix Klein. Both first chapters of the book are presented in great detail in order to facilitate understanding of further sections of the book. The third chapter gives a theory of projective transformations that leave invariant a certain image of the second degree, a theory that is necessary for understanding non-Euclidean movements. For the sake of clarity, many drawings have been introduced into the book. In different parts of the book, a lot of new material had to be introduced in connection with the latest development of mathematics.
