Annotation:

The book of Professor P.Popovich can be useful as a guide to the history of Serbian literature. The book is divided into three parts: 1) ancient Serbian writing, 2) folk literature and 3)Dubrovnik literature. This book mainly represents the author's teaching activities at the "Great School" and the University. The book is written with the aim of giving a brief overview of Serbian literature for those who love and study it, in order to serve as a guide for their work in the field of science. Her task is also to present the Serbian subject in its main and general features and to present the current state of the study of Serbian literature. At the end of the book, a list of the literature of the subject used by the author is attached.
