Russian Russian literature and the Russian language linguistic materials have been collected and systematized in the book, extracted from primary sources or from a wide variety of studies on Russian history, Russian literature and the Russian language. To an even greater extent, it was a presentation of the preliminary results of the author's own research on the language of individual writers or on certain periods in the history of the Russian literary language. For example, about the language of Protopope Avvakum, about the translation language of the Peter the Great era, about the language of Trediakovsky, Sumarokov, Lomonosov, about Karamzin, about the French element in the Russian literary language of the XVIII century, about the language of Pushkin, about the dictionaries of the Russian Academy, about the Explanatory Dictionary of V.I. Dahl, etc.
